A HAT-TRICK by Che Stadhart and excellent goalkeeping from Paul Wilkerson earned Gravesend & Northfleet their second Conference win of the season at Woking on Tuesday night.

The home side were fast out the traps going ahead in the second minute through Warren Patmore.

Fleet gradually got into the game and Stadhart grabbed his first goal on 29 minutes, which is how it stayed until half time.

After the break Fleet stretched their legs and played some fine football with Stadhart scoring again on 51 and 55 minutes.

Woking pulled a goal back on 78 minutes when Justin Skinner was harshly adjudged to have felled Chris Sharpling and Ben Abbey converted the penalty.

Nick Burton in central defence was outstanding for Fleet, especially when he and goalkeeper Wilkerson, who pulled off four great saves, stemmed the Woking tide and denied the home side an equaliser.

The three points see Fleet creep into the top half of the Nationwide Conference with seven points from six games, while Woking drop from second spot to fifth following their first defeat of the season.
