An air ambulance has been spotted landing in the centre of a seaside town.

The helicopter was seen flying over Herne Bay, before landing in the Memorial Park at about 11.40am today.

An ambulance service spokesman says crews have been called to a private address, but would not provide any further information about the incident.

Police also confirmed that they have not been called to the scene.
