Herne Bay men arrested in Oxenden Square on suspicion of drug dealing

Two suspected drug dealers have been arrested after police pulled over a speeding car in Herne Bay.

The men, in their 20s, were apprehended in Oxenden Square on Friday night on suspicion of intending to supply Class A drugs.

One was arrested at the scene, while the other was detained nearby after he reportedly attempted to flee through residential gardens.

The car, which was not insured, was seized, along with the suspected Class A drugs.

One of the men, aged 25, was also believed to be drink driving and the other, a 28-year-old, was believed to be in possession of Class B drugs.

Both men are from Herne Bay and have been released pending further inquiries.
