Electric scooter and Apple Watch stolen after Herne Bay robbery

A teenage boy had an electric scooter, mobile phone and an Apple Watch stolen during a reported robbery.

The young victim told police the expensive items had been taken from him during an incident in Pettman Close, Herne Bay, last Thursday afternoon.

Following an investigation, 18-year-old Hayden Knight and Ellis Willis, 22, were each charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article.

Knight, from High Street in Chatham, was remanded in custody to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court today.

Meanwhile, Ellis, of High Street in Herne Bay, was released on bail to appear before magistrates in Margate on Wednesday, April 15.
