Ambulance called to Herne Bay after motorbike and van crash

A town centre route has been sealed off following a crash between a van and a motorbike.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Avenue Road, Herne Bay, just before 1.25pm today.

Ambulance crews are also in attendance, as they assess for injuries at the scene.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to a report of a collision between a van and a motorbike.

"A localised road closure has been enforced to ensure public safety."
