Gang attacks man in Herne Bay's Memorial Park

A man has been attacked by a gang in a town centre park.

Police were called to Memorial Park in Herne Bay and launched a search of the area for the thugs.

But no one matching the description of the offenders was found.

The incident took place shortly before 11pm on Saturday.

Police say the victim was assaulted by a group of up to six people.
