A 5ft pensioner is wanted by police after a schoolboy was attacked on a bus.

The man – thought to be in his 70s – reportedly hit the boy in the face before jumping off the number 36 in Herne Bay.

It is said he struck the youngster as the bus stopped in Mickleburgh Hill.

Stagecoach is extending the times when it will accept a young person's Freedom Pass.

The boy suffered pain to his eye.
