Man airlifted to hospital after stabbing in Station Chine, Herne bay

A man has been taken to a London hospital after being stabbed.

Police were called to reports of a serious assault in Station Chine, Herne Bay at 4.24pm.

They taped off a large area in the residential road.

Paramedics assisted officers and the man in his 20s was airlifted to a London hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.

An investigation has been launched and initial inquiries are being made in the area into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
