Man flown to London hospital after attack at Herne Bay address

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being attacked in the early hours of the morning.

Police were called to the incident at an address in Tyndale Park, Herne Bay, at 3.15am today.

An ambulance landed in Memorial Park at about 4am and later flew the victim to an infirmary in London.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to a report that a man had been assaulted at a private address.

"Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident."

The man's injuries, which were sustained to one of his legs, are not believed to be life-threatening.
