Herne Bay High Street fight sparks police investigation

A man suffered facial injuries after a town centre brawl erupted in the early hours of the morning.

Police were called to the scene in Herne Bay High Street at about 3.05am upon receiving reports of a fight involving a number of people.

The fight broke out in Herne Bay High Street

When officers arrived, a man in his 30s was taken to hospital with facial injuries.

A spokesman for the force says no arrests have been made and that investigations are ongoing.

Witnesses are being urged to call police on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/220132/19, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
