Herne Bay Esso garage targeted in late-night burglary

Police are hunting for two men after cigarettes were stolen during a late-night raid of a petrol station.

At about 2am on Sunday, October 6, the burglars are believed to have damaged a front door as they tried to force their way into the Esso in King's Road, Herne Bay.

They stole a quantity of cigarettes before fleeing in a silver Vauxhall Astra.

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to call them on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/191863/19, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
