Police and forensics teams on Herne Bay seafront

Police forensic teams and detectives are at the scene of a "medical incident" near Herne Bay seafront.

Five police vehicles line Central Parade, where officers have been seen going in and out of a house in Sea View Square - a small cul-de-sac near the clock tower.

They were called there by ambulance crews at 8.35am today.

A police spokesman says the force was asked to "assist South East Coast Ambulance Service with a medical incident".

Officers remain outside the property.
