Police called to break-in at Herne Bay High School

Police descended on a school after two people were seen breaking in.

Officers, along with a dog handler and police dog, were called to Herne Bay High School in Bullockstone Road.

Two teenagers were arrested after allegedly being seen trying to enter a building shortly before 4am on Tuesday.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended, along with a dog handler and police dog, and two 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

“The two boys have since been released on bail while inquiries into the incident continue.”
