Tesco Express in Herne Bay targeted by thief

A search has been launched for a woman after alcohol and food were stolen from a branch of Tesco Express.

The items were swiped from the supermarket in Canterbury Road, Herne Bay, just before 9pm on Sunday, April 26.

Police have now released a CCTV image of a woman they believe may be able to help the investigation.

Officers are urging anyone who recognises her or has information about the shoplifting to call them on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/71850/20, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
