Businesses and cash machines damaged in Herne Bay wrecking spree

Police have identified a man following a CCTV appeal after businesses and cash machines were damaged in a wrecking spree.

Officers launched an investigation into the criminal damage in Mortimer Street, Herne Bay.

The doors of multiple businesses were damaged, as well as ATM machines, during the incidents, which happened at about 6.30am on Tuesday.

Officers are investigating and released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist enquiries.

They have since confirmed a person has been identified in relation to the CCTV appeal.
