Crash on A299 London-bound near Herne Bay

Two people have been hospitalised after a crash on a busy dual carriageway.

One car was stuck in the middle of the London-bound carriageway of the A299 following the incident, which occurred at around 12.15pm.

The accident, which happened near the Herne Bay exit, involved at least two cars.

There are unconfirmed reports that one car flipped and rolled during the incident.

The two victims were taken to a local hospital.

The road has now been cleared and traffic is moving freely.
