A woman was taken to hospital with a foot injury after a window was smashed in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).

Police were called to Mortimer Street in Herne Bay at around 3.30am after reports of criminal damage to a window.

At around 8am today, onlookers said there were still police at the scene, with a trail of blood near to where the glass had been broken.
