Amadou Kassarate produced a man-of-the-match display as Welling United controlled their National League South game with Chippenham, although it finished 0-0.

James Miles scored twice, including a 35-yard strike, and ran the game from midfield as Erith Town beat Welling Town 6-0 in Southern Counties East.

Denzel Gayle scored the opener as Cray Valley upset Isthmian Premier hosts Chatham 2-0 in the FA Trophy First Round.

Josh Williams maintained his good form with an 85th-minute winner, after a fine right-wing run, as Whitstable beat VCD 2-1 in Southern Counties East.

Alex Willis scored twice in six minutes as Sheppey fought back from 2-0 down at Merstham in Isthmian South East, only to lose 3-2.

Substitute Cruise Nyadzayo made the difference with a late double as Punjab beat Lydd 3-1 for the second weekend running, backing up their FA Vase success in Southern Counties East.
