A lorry driver has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a crash late last year.

Officers investigating a fatal collision on the A20 between a lorry and car have charged Velichko Hristov Petkov, 43, from Spain.

The crash happened on Ashford Road, Newingreen, on November 25, 2014.

A 53-year-old man from Hythe died at the scene.

Petkov will appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 23.
