Trike rider, 70, dies in hospital days after three-vehicle crash on Sandling Road, Postling

A 70-year-old trike rider has died in hospital following a three-vehicle crash which happened on a country road at the end of April.

The pensioner sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision in Postling, near Hythe, and was taken to a London hospital - but he has subsequently lost his life.

The crash happened on Sandling Road, near to Postling

Police are continuing to investigate the now-fatal crash and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The trike rider was travelling along Sandling Road at about 9.45am on Thursday, April 29 when he was involved in a crash with a silver Ford and a white Hyundai.

He was on a black Talisman trike travelling northbound.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are still searching for answers to know the full circumstances of the incident.
