£10m development fund for South East firms

INVOICE finance company, Cattles Invoice Finance, which opened a Maidstone office in June, has allocated a £10m fund for start-up and growing businesses in the South East through a range of invoice finance products.

David Moran, regional managing director for Cattles Invoice Finance for the South East, said: "There is a vast amount of potential and creativity in this region, but many young companies have difficulty finding funding that works for them from the very beginning, and as they move forward and grow.

"We are committed to helping young businesses grow into successful performers that will significantly contribute to the South East economy."

The company's invoice finance works differently from other methods of funding, like bank overdrafts, because capital can be raised as soon as an invoice is issued, so the level of funding the company can access increases as the business grows.

The invoice finance facility can also act as a bolt-on credit control department which Cattles Invoice Finance says frees the time of the owner manager and allows them to concentrate on bringing in new business.
