MARTYN JONES, director of Kent Business School, is to leave at the end of the year.

Professor Jones is to become Pro Vice Chancellor of Kingston University in Surrey.

During his time at KBS, he has raised its reputation in research and achieved accreditation of its MBA programme.

He has also developed international links, especially with South America where he is to become a visiting professor.
