An intrepid team from KPMG, the accounting and business advice group, has raised £8,000 from a charity sleep-out.

Eighteen volunteers from Kent and Sussex braved the elements to help the Bridge Trust in Kent and the Brighton Housing Trust.

And generous staff at Inprint, a label company based at the Ashford Business Park, Sevington, added £970 to the town's Children In Need fund.

They raised the cash with a raffle and a sponsored leg waxing.
