Kff is one of the country’s most established foodservice companies, having started supplying customers from its Aylesford base more than 60 years ago.

The company built its reputation on second-to-none service, while delivering a range of quality, locally-sourced fresh, frozen and ambient products to out of home food businesses across Kent and the surrounding areas.

Kff recently launched a newly diversified and expanded product portfolio, including the launch of a fantastic ‘fresh’ range in 2022, as well as rolling out its own Purple Pineapple range of sandwich fillings for the café and out of home sectors.

The Purple Pineapple products are handmade on site providing the authentic taste and texture that cannot be achieved using a machine, under the careful eye of head development chef, Mark Prior, who is always looking for stand-out flavours and food to add to kff’s growing portfolio.

The company has a strong Kent heritage and it works with many quality local suppliers to identify the products that help create menus that stand out. With an increasing focus on top quality regional produce from Kent, the Garden of England, more than 10% of its product portfolio is now produced within the county.

With a wealth of food service experience across its business, the company has focussed on ensuring food venues get the ‘local’ service they expect from a regional wholesaler, the range that they get from a national and value that competes with anyone.

Kff makes around 800 customer deliveries every day from two sites, its headquarters in Aylesford, Kent and a satellite depot in Whitney, Oxfordshire. The success of the business saw it significantly increase its capacity at Aylesford, almost doubling its square footage as it expanded its range in 2022.

Kff is a part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice distributor, which continues to invest in the business providing world-leading tools that it has developed to improve service levels and putting its 4,000 customers at the heart of everything that it does.
