JULIE ASKEW: "A new take from the outside can often quickly highlight business areas that could be developed or improved that would otherwise lie hidden"

THE Kent-based recruitment company, HR GO (Kent) Ltd, formerly PSB Staffsign Ltd, has appointed Julie Askew as its new managing director.

For the past eight years, Ms Askew has worked at Adecco UK where she was responsible for multiple sites across Kent and East Sussex, delivering year on year growth and budget achievement.

In her new role she will be responsible for seven branches across Kent and a team of more than 30 and is aiming to strengthen HR GO (Kent) and its operating brands in Kent’s recruitment market.

She said: “Being responsible for the success of a company this size is a challenging role but I am looking forward to it.

"It's a great opportunity to stand back and take a look at the company as a whole and implement new processes and procedures with a new and fresh approach.

"A new take from the outside can often quickly highlight business areas that could be developed or improved that would otherwise lie hidden.

“You are only as good as your team and I am sure that with strong communication and team work we can together increase the success of HR GO Kent and establish it as a fierce player in the Kent recruitment market.”

HR GO (Kent) Ltd is the longest established of the 49 joint ventures within the HR GO Plc Group, of which it is a member, with nearly 50 years' experience in the recruitment industry.

The HR GO Group has a turnover in excess of £80 million and employs 450 permanent staff nationally.
