Chance to benefit from IT events

BOSSES in Swale are being encouraged to discover the benefits of IT.

Technology Enterprise Kent with backing from SEEDA is organising free half-day seminars in March to show business owners how the latest IT solutions and telecommunications can enhance their business.

Russell Bavington-Jones, connectivity and bandwidth project manager at Technology Enterprise Kent, said: "The idea of these events is for people to get a good idea of the practical applications of the latest technology. We often find that although companies are aware of what is available, they simply don't know how it can help their businesses."

The first exhibition concentrates on mobile computing and takes place on 3 March at The Swallow Kent International Hotel (formerly Ramada Jarvis, Ramsgate). The second event, focusing on Broadband technology, takes place on 16 March at St Augustine's, Westgate-on-Sea.
