A leading college has signed a deal with a marketing company to deliver its PR campaign to mark its 50th anniversary.

Hadlow College has appointed Maidstone-based Fabrick Marketing and Communications for its Vision 50 campaign.

The college, which also runs West Kent and Ashford colleges, is using its landmark year to focus on the future for rural industries, rather than reflect on the past.

Explains Neil Lakeland, group head of marketing and communications at the Hadlow Group: "Vision 50 represents how Hadlow sees the rural sector developing and some of the challenges it faces.

"After speaking with Fabrick, and hearing the number of innovative ideas they had to help us publicise this message, they were the obvious partner.

"Not only did they understand the concept and vision, but also built upon the initial concept to enhance the overall result.

It builds on an existing relationship between the college and the marketing company.

Fabrick has designed the college's three prospectuses for the past eight years.

David Ing, its managing director, said: “We are thrilled to be working again with Hadlow College, and on such a prestigious project that will clearly influence the future of rural industries."

Fabrick employs 25 staff.
