Courses aim to help firms grow

THE Enterprise Agency of North Kent is holding a full-day intensive course for people responsible for business development, whether in an existing business or a start-up.

The aim is to show participants how they can help their business grow profitably.

The workshop, at the Enterprise Agency's base at 22 King Street, Gravesend on Wednesday, June 11, includes mini-lectures, case studies and discussions.

The Agency is also running a Business Awareness Workshop at the same venue on Friday, June 13, for people thinking of setting up a business .

The free half-day course covers legal requirements, sources of finance, business planning, marketing and training.
