COMPANIES in Kent have the chance to increase profit, productivity and turnover by taking part in this year’s Investors in People (IIP) week.

Business Link Kent (BLK), the business advice agency, will host events focusing on staff development at various locations across the county beginning on September 20.

Deryck Banks, head of workforce development at BLK, said: “All businesses should be using the Investors in People framework because people drive profits, and a valued and committed workforce delivers better results.”

IIP is recognised for increasing business competitiveness, improving the level of staff retention and customer satisfaction. More than 1,000 Kent-based firms have chosen IIP as a tool for improving business performance.
