A FIRE station, which became a social club then a scout headquarters could next be a day nursery, a variety club or a fish restaurant..
The building, in Queenborough, on the Isle of Sheppey, is on the market for £110,000.
It adjoins Queenborough Social Club, North Road, and was Abbott Laboratories' social club for nearly 40 years, before being sold by the company earlier this year.
Sheppey businessman George Ball became the new owner, but is now offering it for sale through agents Megadale Estates, who say there has been tremendous interest.
One of its two bars on the first floor could become a one-bedroom flat, and its close proximity to the seafront makes it an attractive proposition as a fish restaurant,
There is an 80ft x 60ft function room, a snooker room, chiller room, large kitchen, toilets and two outbuildings.
