Girlings Solicitors has celebrated the recent coming together of its commercial team under one roof.

They are all now based at Stourside Place, Ashford, and toasted the occasion with an at home event in Boys Hall attended by nearly 100 guests, including clients and representatives from financial institutions.

Chairman Peter Morgan said the move meant much more than the "sum of the parts".

The firm now provided a comprehensive and joined-up service for business, giving depth and strength in acquisitions, disposals and other commercial matters.

The union would further develop its team approach, to optimise service delivery and ensure a†cost effective and transparent cost structure for any size of transaction.

Girlings is expanding its commercial team and believes it will be better placed to serve clients and their businesses and to work more closely as a part of clients' management teams.

Mr Morgan reminded guests that the firm also provided a complementary range of services for private clients across its branch network and for clients moving their businesses into or already established in Europe.
