TWO engineers at Canterbury-based ADM Computing have been rewarded for their hard work and dedication.

Mike Griggs will be jetting off to the Canary Islands for a holiday after winning the company's Engineer of the Year award. In second place, and winning a weekend city break, was Mike's colleague, Shaun Cuffe.

Nominations were received from customers and staff. ADM Computing's customer services director Linda Sinclair, said: "Our customers were quite unanimous this year in their choice of Engineer of the Year as Mike has proved a popular figure with them throughout the year.

"However, a number of our customers also commented they found it difficult to make their final decision, which suggests to us that the level of service generally provided is of a high standard, which of course is pleasing."
