A fast-growing IT company has moved to a new home in the county as it aims to double in size by the end of the year.

Onwave, which has been operating since 2008, has moved from Westerham to Kings Hill, near West Malling.

The internet service provider – which serves the construction, utilities, transport, retail and public sectors – expects to grow its headcount from 15 to 30 by the end of the year.

IT company Onwave has moved to Kings Hill

Managing director Stuart Ladbrook said: “We are moving to Kings Hill as we are a fast growing company and need larger, purpose-designed premises to support our expansion.

“Kings Hill is in a prime location with a large catchment population, which will provide a suitable pool of skilled talent.”

The company joins several other IT businesses at the estate, including Relational Database Technology, Infor Global Solutions and Version 1 Software.

Andrew Blevins, managing director of the business site’ss developer Liberty Property Trust, said: “Kings Hill is well placed to accommodate growing companies because many of the buildings are owned by a single landlord, which allows us to readily move companies around the business park to accommodate their growth whilst keeping the Kings Hill address.”
