Logo grafts will aid charity

FIRMS across Kent will be able to see their logos splashed across some of the world's greatest landmarks in a fundraising scheme for Demelza House.

Sarah MacKenzie, 21, from Maidstone, is offering to superimpose images onto snapshots of famous landmarks that she will take during a year-long tour of the world, starting next month.

She has drawn up a business proposal - called Quest4U - and approached Maidstone Chamber of Commerce to drum up interest from 120 firms, which will raise a total of £10,000 for the Sittingbourne children's hospice.

She will be able to graft a picture of an individual, a family or a business onto scenes including the Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, the Coral Reef in Australia or an elephant safari in Thailand.
