AFTER decades of trading, market stallholders set up their pitches for the last time on Friday morning.

They have give up their fight to keep the weekly market in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester and it will now be held at its original site, along te road in Corporation Street.

The market will be combined with a monthly farmers' market and be held once a month on a Sunday.
