MP gives stamp of approval

A FOLKESTONE-based company has donated £45,000 to charity to celebrate the opening of its new offices.

Internetstamps Group, which provides limited edition first day covers to stamp collectors and enthusiasts, presented a cheque for £25,000 to the Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel Trust, while Childline received £20,000.

The new offices at Shearway Business Park were opened by Michael Howard MP.

With a turnover in excess of £1.5 million and 21 employees, Internetstamps Group has raised more than £300,000 for charity through celebrity signed covers since being established in 2001.
