A photocopier and stationery supplier continued to post impressive figures after three years being ranked among Kent’s fastest-growing companies.

Netbox Digital, based on Rochester Airport industrial estate, increased turnover by 44% to £5.8 million according to its latest accounts filed to Companies House.

The firm supplies print, copying and scanning machines from the likes of Lexmark, Ricoh and Sharp to offices across the country.

It boosted operating profit by 12% to £816,000, while pre-tax profits were up 11% to £806,000.

The company has been ranked in the MegaGrowth 50 list for the last three years, ranking the county’s top firms by revenue growth over the last four years. The next list will be published in November.

The firm, which employs more than 50 people, launched a recruitment business in October 2015 and has opened an office in Essex.

Plans are underway to open an office for Netbox Recruitment in Maidstone, when the firm will aim to hire another six staff.

Managing director Paul Crewe said: “We launched it because part of our philosophy is to come up with better office solutions for our clients.

“We are not just good at looking at what businesses have got in their office but also how they do things.

“So we decided to launch recruitment because it offers a lot of cross-fertilisation. It was a logical addition.”
