A new self-storage facility has opened in Maidstone, creating two jobs.

The town’s mayor Clive English and MP Helen Grant opened the Easistore depot in Hart Street, adding to those already operating in Crawley, Edenbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

The store runs on a three man crew, including a manager - who was a previous employee - and a new assistant manager and a sales advisor, employed from Rochester and Maidstone.

Paul Glenister, founder and managing director of Easistore Self Storage, said: “We’re very happy that our Maidstone store is up and running, and for the services that we can now offer local businesses and households.

“We have always had Maidstone on our list for a new store as it is a vibrant and popular area and we can see that significant investment is being made to improve it further.”

Easistore are also looking for further opportunities to expand, and continue riding the crest of the self storage wave.
