PR AGENCY DTW has given its support to the WAVE Trust as it publishes a major new report into violence.

The WAVE Report 2005 is the result of an eight-year study of the root causes of violence. It examines the current situation and provides recommendations for the prevention of violence, which it hopes will be embraced by the Government.

DTW, which is based in Canterbury, has played an important role in the presentation of the report, trying to achieve maximum political impact.

DTW director Charlie Vavasour said: "This is an extremely important report that endeavours to address the ever-increasing level of violence in our society.

"As always, presentation and promotion are key to having a major impact with this type of campaign, so we’re very pleased to be able to support WAVE in communicating its crucial findings."

The WAVE Trust is an international charity founded to research the root causes of violence in society and promote effective means to reduce it, particularly focused on child abuse and neglect.

The WAVE Report can be accessed at www.wavetrust.org.
