THE Office of Fair Trading (OFT) is bringing its regional roadshow to Medway in early October as part of a UK-wide programme.

Seminars on competition and consumer protection laws will be held at the Stratford Suite at the Bridgewood Manor Hotel, Chatham, from 9.15am on Wednesday, October 2.

A spokesman for OFT said: "There are also information stands for consumers from which they can find out more about their rights when shopping.

"We also want to explain how OFT's role affects businesses and consumers.''
