Kent Rural Conference to take place on January 24 at Hadlow College in partnership with Kent Rural Advocates

Tackling the challenges which lie in the future for the rural sector will be the key focus of a conference taking place later this month.

Hadlow College is hosting the event in partnership with Kent Rural Advocates, and aims to devise a "blueprint for the future of the sector".

Taking place on Thursday, January 24, between 2-4.30pm, speakers include financial journalist Anthony Hilton, Kent County Council cabinet member for economic development Mark Dance and Professor Mario Caccamo from East Malling Research.

Conference will look at how rural sector will need to evolve to tackle challenges ahead

The free event is designed to showcase the impact the rural sector has on every-day life, highlight the work of the sector and explore how it can continue to evolve.
