Customers of The Range in Chatham will see a "complete update" to the store next month.

Bosses at the store at the Dockside Outlet Centre say it will modernise the store and increase the size of a number of departments.

Among those areas getting a boost will be its cleaning and laundry, DIY and pets sections.

Shoppers will be able to see the new-look store on Friday, April 2. The shop will remain open during the works.

It has also factored in social distancing requirements which include markers and sanitising stations.

Last August, the chain added a range of Iceland frozen food and a Jonas & James kitchen showroom to the branch.
