A series of free webinars will be hosted by the University of Kent over the coming weeks to help support firms recover as lockdown restrictions are eased.

Hosted by Kent Innovation and Enterprise (KIE), they will provide expert advice through online sessions in collaboration with a number of academic schools across the university.

The University of Kent will be hosting the webinars between now and the end of July

The first takes place next Tuesday, June 30, and will focus on how to kick-start your e-commerce offering.

Hosted by Jason Marshall, business manager of the Kent IT Consultancy (KITC), at the university’s School of Computing, this event will guide participants through the process of setting-up an e-commerce platform and provide strategies to maximise sales potential. To register visit here.

Further confirmed sessions include a look at scanned handwritten signatures and the risk of forgery on July 10; financial support for SMEs on July 22; re-imagining tourism in the county on July 23; and how to protect your firm against ransomware attacks on July 31.
