Three men have been arrested by police on suspicion of stealing metal at Detling Aerodrome, near Maidstone.

Officers were called to the area at about 7.30pm last Wednesday after reports of men stripping portacabins of metal.

The three men, all from the Sittingbourne area, were detained. They have been bailed to return to Maidstone Police Station on April 27 pending a decision to prosecute.
