£53m raid suspect in court in Morocco

Lee Murray was arrested over the Securitas cash depot robbery on Sunday

THE man arrested in Morocco in connection with the £53million robbery at the Securitas cash depot in Tonbridge has appeared in court in the African country on drug charges.

Lee Murray, 26, from Sidcup, appeared before a court in Sale, near the Moroccan capital Rabat.

He and three other British people, who are not connected to the Securitas heist in any way, are accused of possessing cocaine.

Murray is a martial arts expert known as Lightning who has appeared in Sky TV's Cage Rage programmes.

The United Kingdom is seeking his extradition.
