He has photographed everyone from rock legend Mick Jagger, to former prime minister Tony Blair, but now the town of Margate has become his muse.

Photographer Tim Spencer became captivated by the area after moving to Cliftonville from London in 2007.

He created a photographic diary of his first year in the town, taking at least one picture every day.

This Saturday a selection of the pictures will go on display at the Margate Harbour Arm Gallery from 11am to 7pm.
