Tailbacks on the A249 are starting to ease after an earlier crash was cleared.

The Sheerness-bound carriageway was closed at the Stockbury roundabout, shortly after 5am this morning.

It followed a crash between two foreign-registered lorries and a British-registered lorry.

The incident, which happened near Bobbing, caused long delays on the M2 and back towards Maidstone.
