AA on hand when drinkers' resolve breaks down

MOST people celebrate the dawn of a New Year with a drink or two.

But for alcoholics across the county the festivities, with their emphasis on excess and indulgence, can be a tough time.

Alcoholism is an illness which kills one person every 20 minutes in Britain.

Reg, a spokesperson for Alcoholics Anonymous in Kent, spoke to KM-fm's Ally Barnard about the effects alcholism has on its sufferers and how the organisation can help...
