Accused Nicholas Pepper faces trial for administering poison

A man accused of manslaughter and administering a poison has appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.

Nicholas Pepper, of Royal Close, Broadstairs, is alleged to have killed John Gratton on October 6 last year.

Judge Jeremy Carey continued 26-year-old Pepper's conditional bail until May 27, when a plea is due to be entered to the charges.
