Actor born and bred in Kent dies

Dinsdale Landen

STAGE, film and TV actor Dinsdale Landen, who has died at the age of 71, was a former pupil at King's School at Rochester.

Mr Landen was born in Margate in September 1934. He attended King's School before studying for the stage at the Florence Moore Theatre Studios in Hove in Sussex.

Probably his best work came in the theatre where he performed in works ranging from Shakespeare to Tom Stoppard.

Mr Landen leaves a widow, the actress Jennifer Daniel.
